What Xash SMS is

Xash SMS sends transactional SMS to Zimbabwe (+263) and South Africa (+27). You load US$ credits, then send from the dashboard or the API. Xash owns the carrier routing and the pricing; you get one number to watch: the price per SMS.

Service messages only

This platform carries messages your users asked for:

  • One-time passcodes and verification codes
  • Notifications ("your order shipped")
  • Reminders ("appointment tomorrow at 10:00")
  • Transaction confirmations
  • Account updates

It does not carry marketing, promotions, political messages, or anything sent to a purchased list. Every message body is checked before send, and a rejected message costs nothing. The full policy is on the content rules page.

Channels

channel is a field on every send. Today the only live value is sms. The values telegram and whatsapp are reserved: the API accepts them as known channel names but answers CHANNEL_NOT_AVAILABLE until each one launches. When they do, your integration will not need to change shape.

No sandbox

There are no test credentials and no free credits. Testing is a small real send: load the US$5 minimum and message your own phone. A single SMS costs US$0.04 to Zimbabwe or US$0.02 to South Africa, so a full integration test costs cents.
